A Scenario-Driven Approach to Model-Based Testing

چکیده
Tools for Model-Based Testing (MBT) use various algorithms and strategies to generate tests from a behavioral model of the IUT. Existing MBT tools are based on formal, typically state-based, specification languages. In state-of-theart MBT tools, which we briefly review, executable tests are generated. But these tests are not directly traceable to an actual implementation-under-test (IUT). Instead, they are generally executable in a global space of states. As an alternative approach, we explore here a scenario-driven approach to MBT. Its key characteristic consists in allowing IUT-independent tests generated from scenarios to be transformed into test cases that can run on an actual IUT. A fully implemented framework that supports the automatic instrumentation of such test cases into an IUT, as well as their run-time monitoring is discussed. A Robust Scenario Based Approach in an Uncertain Condition Applied to Location-Allocation Distribution Centers Problem
The paper discusses the location-allocation model for logistic networks and distribution centers through considering uncertain parameters. In real-world cases, demands and transshipment costs change over the period of the time. This may lead to large cost deviation in total cost. Scenario based robust optimization approaches are proposed where occurrence probability of each scenario is not know...
متن کاملNusselt Number Estimation along a Wavy Wall in an Inclined Lid-driven Cavity using Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS)
In this study, an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) was developed to determine the Nusselt number (Nu) along a wavy wall in a lid-driven cavity under mixed convection regime. Firstly, the main data set of input/output vectors for training, checking and testing of the ANFIS was prepared based on the numerical results of the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM). Then, the ANFIS was develope...
متن کاملAutomatic Generation of a Multi Agent System for Crisis Management by a Model Driven Approach
Considering the increasing occurrences of unexpected events and the need for pre-crisis planning in order to reduce risks and losses, modeling instant response environments is needed more than ever. Modeling may lead to more careful planning for crisis-response operations, such as team formation, task assignment, and doing the task by teams. A common challenge in this way is that the model shou...
متن کاملBank Stress Testing
The 2008 banking crisis demonstrated that there is a lack of effective methods for modeling and analyzing “exceptional but plausible” risk scenarios in bank stress testing. Existing stress testing practices mainly focus on modeling probability-based risk factors and events in banking systems using historical data. Rare (low probability) risk events that can cause financial crises in banking sys...

This paper presents a multi-year scenario-based methodology for transmission expansion planning (TEP) in order to enhance the available transfer capability (ATC). The ATC is an important factor for all players of electricity market who participate in power transaction activities and can support the competition and nondiscriminatory access to transmission lines among all market participants. The...
